The León bus station is located at the city center, near the Guzmán El Bueno square across the Bridge of the Lions. Enkoa has supplied a network of ultrasonic technology sensors that, when placed on the roof of the platforms, detects the occupancy status of the platforms and allows monitoring them through our iVIEW for parking software.
The sensors are battery powered and have wireless communication, so installation is minimal. Thanks to the parking control system, the station manager can monitor in real time which parking spaces are free or occupied and direct vehicles to the free spaces. The iVIEW for parking software makes it possible to generate reports on occupancy, obtain statistics on parking times, occupancy, etc.
The system allows to optimise the flow of vehicles, improving safety and ultimately reducing the waiting time of passengers.
