It avoids the unnecessary energy expense when the room is unoccupied ( i.e; the air conditioning ON when the room is empty) .
Energy saving. when the card is removed, energy is turned off after a courtesy time.
Intelligent: it only works with the hotel keycard (except from the mechanical temporized) .
Distinguish between guest and employee.

No external contactor for disconnection required.
